For the visitors with no military background some additional information is necessary. The United States Navy Submarine Service is a very tight knit group of people. You must volunteer to serve aboard a submarine and then you must master every aspect of your submarine to become "Qualified in Submarines" and have the right to wear your "Dolphins".
