St. Anthony Post 22, American Legion presented Dick with a Certificate of Award for his contribution/recognition of those who have served, and who are currently serving, in the military.

Dick has scanned, printed, framed and mounted 168 photographs of S.E. Idaho military men and women. They consist of 11 photographs of those currently serving; one Civil War soldier who is buried in the St. Anthony cemetery; 21 Purple hearts and 6 KIAs. They are on display at a local restaurant called Jill's Place.

The Certificate of Award was presented by Hugh Wright, Post Commander and Charles Ohs, Post Adjutant.
