CPO email addresses are available by clicking on the CPO's name. I also have a separate listing of just CPO email addresses available. CPO Homepage links are provided where available. Please note that all email addresses and Homepage links worked when placed on this page. Overtime some may not work due to Chiefs changing their Internet providers. You can save the file and use your browser to view it off line or you can view it with any word processor. Use your browsers "find" or "search" command and search for shipmates by rate, name or command.

Name: EMC Rick Goldthwaite
Comments: Initiated and very proud of it. It wasn't until then that I realized what the last 6 weeks were for. Prior to being selected, I believed that the initiation for selected CPO's was more of a frat party that went wrong. NOW, it's the beginning of the river that determines CPO or E-7. If you believe in teachings that troops come first; remember where you came from; and their's nothing I can't do, then succeeding is a few steps away. If you don't, i'll never turn my back on you, For once a Chief always a Chief, but i will give you a substantial amount of *^%$ when i'm in the mood. Thanks to all who have guided me. May you continue to guild and mentor others at all crossroads.

I find it hard to come to places like this without wishing I didn't have to give it up so soon. I have to continue to come back to stay in touch and feel my chest swell and tears well up in my eyes with the sense of pride I feel for our Navy. Congratulations to all the new Chiefs. Comments: I am in the process of adding links at my site and found your listing so I will add it to my site. You have me listed in the first column about a third of the way down but show my listed at the old jbdavis site "54 Years and Remembering." The jbdavis site shut down a year or two ago. John Davis told me that he was being harassed by spammers at his site location. So he shut down. This was a shame as he had some great material. I have added some of that material to my site so that it would not be lost forever. Good luck with your site, it is one that is worthwhile. Sincerely, Ernie Herr RM 1/C USS O'Bannon, CRM USS Hoggatt Bay

Comments: I am a newly selected Chief Petty Officer in the submarine fleet. I have gone through some of the best training of my life and am certainly proud to be a Chief Petty Officer. The differences and responsibilites of being a Chief are both exciting and frightening all at the same time. I do believe that I am ready to accept the challenge of being a Chief Petty Officer and the responsibilities it brings with it. I will carry the tradition forward proudly and with honor, ensuring I take care of my family, my troops, my command and the Navy as a whole. Last but not least, I want to thank all the Chief Petty Officers who have kept me on the right path and always looked out for myself and my shipmates. I will gladly do the same...Thank you again....

I wonder, have you considered links to the FRA or VFW homepages? There might be some benefit to such in helping to support issues of concern to current and retired shipmates.
