Nice page, I especially like the links. I logged on just the other day. However, I managed to
wade through the archives and I noticed something. Even though I didn't recognize many names
I sure recognized some all of the boats. Sooo, since I figure some of you are like me I
thought I would make a note of the boats I have been on; Uss Halibut (When it was converted
from ssgn to ssn); USS Kamehameha (in Hawaii - second blue crew patrol +++); Uss James K. Polk
(In Charleston after a tour at the training facility); Uss Stonewall Jackson (In Hawaii for
one patrol as a fillin just before she went to the yards); Thomas Edison (another Hawaii boat).
I also served at SWIFTPAC at EHW1 and offloaded last Polaris on Robert E. Lee and onloaded Ohio.
Ended my career with 22 years at CNTT Memphis and moved to the south Oregon Coast. This is a
great page and I hope some old shipmates either find me or I will find them when I come back
to this page.
