Is that Nadel or Kvaumme or whom with me and in the background behind me is Doug Coxon. This picture was supplied by Stan Ratcliff.
Who is it?

The 1st picture is of Doug Barry in his Yoda mask and me YN1(SS) James J. Morrissey with a newly shaven head. Howard Lamb and I were talking during the Mid Watch as the Diving Team about when we get old. Howard said if we shave our heads, we will know what we will look like when we are old. I said if you do it I will. While he was messenger he went below and got his shaved. The diving team made me live up to my word. In fact 13 other crew members shaved their heads during this West Pac. We all sure hoped it would grow back before we hit the Philippines. The 2nd picture is of LCDR Ted Hack, the XO and My Boss. I think this picture speaks well of the type of person he is. I miss serving with the Gurnard Crew. Provided by YN1(SS) James J Morrissey III.

I recently came across your website and thought I would send this snapshot. Some years ago my wife Rosemary gave me the SSN 662 vanity plate for my birthday. I served on the Gurnard from 70-72; I was the Chief FT. The Gurnard was the last sub I was on as a crewmember. PS: My email address reflects the 65 Porsche (model 356C) that I owned for sixteen years.
